whew, its been quite a LOOOONG long while since i've last wrote a newspost here on newgrounds, the last time being the time i celebrated my cancelled webcomic's first anniversary, which was over FOUR YEARS AGO. oh my goodness! but still, i feel like writing a new one after that long while because the year's coming to an end, and i would like to do a recap on almost everything that happened to me this year, for better or for worse. so without further ado, let's get started already! 

January was pretty uneventful for yours truly ngl.

On February, i published an euphoric hardstyle track called "Be Free" for the BMS event PABAT! 2024 Seasons. here it is on newgrounds btw: https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/1298128

March was also uneventful for me, just like january. *sigh*

On April, i decided to pursue something i never did before. Something very ambitious. VTubing. On my birthday (which is on April 18th btw), i announced my intentions to debut as a VTuber in the near future. And after the announcement, i started posting a couple of shorts to my youtube channel. May wasn't as packed as the rest of the months of the year, apart from a couple of posts and uploads, but in late May, i finally hit 100 followers on Twitter! XD

On June 1st, and to celebrate reaching 100 followers on Twitter, i finally announced the exact date of my debut, which was June 17th. And after posting a couple of songs that i haven't posted to youtube until then, i finally debuted as a VTuber on June 17th, thus kickstarting my career as a cute VTuber.

On July, i celebrated my one month anniversary as a VTuber, and in late July, i opened a Twitch channel, which can be found here: https://www.twitch.tv/cocoloco3412 

On August 1st, i did my first stream on Twitch, and the day after that, i started multistreaming on both youtube and twitch. A couple of days later, i hit 50 subscribers on youtube, and soon after, i hit 60 and then over 70 subs. wow! 

On September, i reached over 80 youtube subscribers and over 25 followers on twitch! and also, i got to draw jacket artworks for my BMS Video teammates for their BOF:TT entries!

On October, not only did i submit my BOF:TT entry Duel of the Fates to the event (u can listen to it here btw: https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/1368370), but i also played and rated a couple of entries from the event on stream for an entire week! but alas, for not everything was fun and games that month...

why? because on October 29th, everything took a turn for the worse...

while i was in the middle of a stream where i played among us with viewers, an alarm rang on my phone, and i told my parents about it, but then, the lights went out in the entire house. and a couple of minutes later, came the horror. THE FLASH FLOOD. that's right, guys... that fateful day, a flash flood swept through my hometown and neighboring towns, and left the whole town in the dark for almost TWO WHOLE DAYS. and ngl to u guys, i almost drove myself crazy back there. gee... those were indeed the longest 45 hours of my life...

on the bright side of things though, i was finally able to reach 100 youtube subscribers that month! YAAAAAY!!! XD

On november, the affected areas began their long trial to bring normalcy back, and on my side, i returned to streaming after that small forced hiatus. and on the first stream of that month, i unveiled a new magical girl-inspired outfit (the unveiling was originally supposed to take place on halloween day, but i had to postpone it due to the flash flood). here it is btw!

and on a side note, i also announced that i would be taking a christmas break from streaming, because i wanna spend christmas with my family, like i usually do; but i promised to post more videos to my youtube channel during that break, and so i did. 

so yep, once again, 2024 was one heck of an year for your favorite cute n' seiso lil bro vtuber!

here are the resolutions i've made for 2024:

-Get a song of mine in a rhythm game

-Improve both my song and illustration making skills

-Release more than 4 songs

-Release a collab song

-Be a bit more active on Twitter

and...

-Begin a VocaloP arc

out of these six resolutions, i've only completed two of 'em (number two and number five), so i hope next year will be better resolution-wise, so without further ado, allow me to you my new year resolutions for 2025! 

-get a song of mine in a rhythm game (is that too much to ask???)

-release more than three or four songs in 2025

-do more than three music production streams in 2025 

-make a game for real (somehow)

-collab with other vtubers 

-make a collab song 

-upload way more clips to my youtube 

-reach 1000 subs on youtube, or at least 500 subs. 

-reach 100 followers on twitch.

-start doing video playthroughs.

-make some goshdang progress on my first album already! its been over six years! sheeesh! 

-try my hand in 2d animation.

-do watchalong streams with my viewers.

-contribute more to newgrounds (collabs, events, etc.)

-try to begin a vocaloP arc.

-do more illustration work for others.

-and last but not least, be very happy and make everyone smile!

a pretty ambitious list of resolutions, dontcha think??
