hey everyone! I'm Alex Turell, your favorite cute n' seiso lil bro VTuber! whew, looks like another year has come and gone, so let's recap everything that happened to me in 2025, and believe me when I say that it was totally a rollercoaster of emotions. so without further ado, let's get started already!
In January, I posted a compilation of timelapses showing all the artworks I drew in 2024 (which can be found here btw: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqhCitWz8GU ). And weeks later, I unveiled my second alternate outfit, based on Saturday Tasogare, the protagonist of a cool free-to-play rhythm game called vivid/stasis. here it is btw!
On the Newgrounds side of things, I began taking part on my first collabs, including the Wanted! collab.
In February, I uploaded a one hour version of Sleep Deprivation, a song I originally released way back in 2021. And I also posted two stream highlights videos to my youtube channel.

And also, I unveiled a brand new merch collection for my merch store. And to top it all off, I reached 200 subscribers on my youtube channel!
In April (the month of my birth) a real rollercoaster of emotions happened in my life. On April 9th, my heart beat incredibly fast (in my opinion), and next day I was diagnosed with "discrete" tachycardia, and was prescribed some medicine that helped me solve the problem. But little did I knew however, that I would be having even more panic attacks over the months. And to rub salt to the wound, a nationwide blackout happened on the 28th, which left my house without electricity for about eight hours.
On the more positive side of things, I celebrated my birthday for the first time on stream with my first birthday stream, and I also released a birthday merch collection for my merch store. And last but not least, I released my first song with vocals called ほしのほし (Make a Wish) (feat. Kasane Teto), which was the first time something I did got FRONTPAGED here on newgrounds! In May, a milestone happened on my youtube channel. Several of my shorts that I uploaded that month were the first ones in my channel to reach ONE THOUSAND VIEWS, and one of them even has ALMOST 4K VIEWS! And I also uploaded the prototype version of a song I released way back in late 2022. Oh, and before I forget, I bought a new laptop, which I would start using for streaming the following month.
In June, I started streaming with my slick new 32GB ram laptop (which I bought days before), and I celebrated my first anniversary as your favorite cute n' seiso lil bro VTuber with you guys (and with, obviously, brand new merch), but this month was also a turning point in my VTubing career, because I finally had my first collab with other VTubers, with five more to follow over the next 2-3 months!
In July, I hosted my first collab; the Drawing Battle Collab, in which four other VTubers had to draw (or more accurately replicate) stuff based on a theme. Two drawing battle collabs happened in 2025, one in July, and the other the following month. And for the first time, some of my timelapse short reached ONE THOUSAND VIEWS that month. And speaking of milestones, I also reached 300 youtube subscribers that month! XD Oh and did I mention that I got raided by a streamer with thousands of followers on twitch that month? I even reached a peak of 107 viewers on that stream thanks to that raid! that was VERY crazy!
In August, I not only uploaded two stream highlights videos to my youtube channel, but I also released a brand new song called "Beyond Boundaries", which was in the works since May 2024! here it is btw: https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/1464287
In September, I had to sadly slow down (or even completely paralyze) my vtubing output because unfortunately, my anxiety/panic attacks peaked that month, and I wouldn't pick up the pace again until half a month later.
In October, I made my grandious return to streaming, and I started posting shorts to my youtube channel once again; although I wouldn't stream as much as I normally did before September, and that would last for a couple of months. On the musical side of things, I released my entry for the BOF21 BMS event called "G414", which you can listen to here: https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/1481210
In November, I unveiled a brand new outfit based on the jacket artwork for my song G414, and I also released a cool merch collection based on the song. here is my third alternate outfit in full btw.
However, that month, I caught a cold which left me KO'd for a week or so, and I couldn't post content during that week... :(
In December, I posted a brand new stream highlights video, the last one of the year, and my youtube channel also reached 100K total views! And I also tried to post one short a day for several days, and yes, just like last year, I decided to take a christmas break from streaming, but the day I started it (which was after I finished my final stream for 2025), I caught another cold, and so did the rest of my family, leaving us bedridden for almost an entire week, thus leaving us unable to open our christmas presents on christmas day...
What a way to send off the year, right? :(
Oh and I also reached 100 followers on Twitch; I just don't remember when it happened exactly. :(
So yep, long story short, 2025 was quite the rollercoaster of emotions for your favorite cute n' seiso lil bro VTuber, and here's the list of resolution I did for the year.
-get a song of mine in a rhythm game (is that too much to ask???)
-release more than three or four songs in 2025
-do more than three music production streams in 2025
-make a game for real (somehow)
-collab with other vtubers
-make a collab song
-upload way more clips to my youtube
-reach 1000 subs on youtube, or at least 500 subs.
-reach 100 followers on twitch.
-start doing video playthroughs.
-make some goshdang progress on my first album already! its been over six years! sheeesh!
-try my hand in 2d animation.
-do watchalong streams with my viewers.
-contribute more to newgrounds (collabs, events, etc.)
-try to begin a vocaloP arc.
-do more illustration work for others.
-and last but not least, be very happy and make everyone smile!
Out of all these resolutions, I accomplished at least 9 of the 17 resolutions i put for myself in 2025, which is not bad, I suppose. And without further ado, lemme show you my new year resolutions for 2026!
-get a song of mine in a rhythm game (is that too much to ask???)
-release more than three or four songs in 2026
-make a game for real (somehow)
-do more than six collabs with other vtubers
-make more VTuber friends
-make a collab song
-Get a Sponsorship.
-reach 500 subs on youtube and start monetizing my content.
-become a Twitch affiliate.
-start doing video playthroughs.
-make some goshdang progress on my first album already! its been over seven years! sheeesh!
-release more animations.
-do watchalong streams with my viewers.
-play PS4 games on stream.
-play PS2/Wii games on stream.
-do more illustration work for others.
-and last but not least, be very happy and make everyone smile!
As you can see, most of my goals that I couldn't realize in 2025 have been carried over to this 2026 list, because I'm just that stubborn when it comes to trying to realize your dreams.
